Video Rebuttals

      Today's video was a great way to continue yesterday's lecture for a variety of reasons. The rebuttals illustrated the opinions from both the mindset of a creationist and that of a scientist. In my opinion, both men made great points and the argument could go on forever. The basic idea is that you have two choices. You can believe that the modern day dating systems and other scientific techniques are enough evidence for how Earth came to be what it is today. Or you can argue that there was no primary source there to see it except for the voice of God and we therefore must use the Bible as the basis for our reasoning. Overall, the video was interesting because it gave a clear representation of both perspectives. If I had to pick a side, I would probably pick that of a creationist because I find science's multiple sources to be more reliable than religion's sole source.
