Today's Discussion

In all honesty, I feel like the past couple of days' discussions have been very repetitive. This is about the third blog post I am writing about my opinion on the "most advantageous advantage." Once again, I agree with Dostoyevsky and his opinion that humans are illogical, irrational creatures who can think for themselves and consciously make decisions that outright defy what is in their best interest. It is in our very beings, our human nature is comprised of unpredictability and randomness. The fact that each human being has a mind of their own just proves that we are fully capable of going against what society tells us. We are all individuals in this world and that is what makes us different from all the other animals on the planet. We think and make decisions for ourselves, on an individual basis. We are not the same, none of us operate on the same level. People possess different mindsets and different ethics and morals, and that is what allows us to prosper and advance as a species. I like this book a lot, but I just wish that we would move on from the topic of humanity's most advantageous advantage because I feel like we have covered it quite thoroughly.
