Undefined

The narrator’s point of view that evolutionary theory cannot fit human beings is at first a bit shocking but once thinking about it, it seems to be quite true. Unlike any other animal or living organism in this world, human beings are quite complex. We don’t entirely base our decisions based on our best interests as exemplified by people quitting jobs to pursue their passions in life or even when a mother jumps in front a bus in order to save her stranded child. We are all shaped uniquely by both nature and nurture, and as a result, are all different. Most animals follow a pattern in that their actions always have some type of purpose necessary for survival. But when we choose to leave our jobs to pursue our passions, we are sacrificing the economic necessities needed to exist in the modern world and damaging the wall necessary for our survival. Through all this reasoning, I believe that in fact there cannot possibly be one theory to exactly define our species. Yes, we do similar things and all have ‘end goals’, but in the end, the details that lead us to our end games become quite distinct.
