destination vs journey

Honestly, I could relate the class today. When someone reaches their destination, they feel lost or without a purpose. Especially when everything is in such a good place. A perfect example is the fact that the dance team just won states and after nationals, the season is over. I will no longer be a Sundancer. That is frightening to me. New beginnings, reestablishing myself; and I am sure I am not the only one to think this. I also thought it was funny that we spoke about the destination on a road trip. I love o have everything planned and arrive on time. Everything has to flow perfectly, and that is partly due because I am a control freak. But I do not like to waste time. I want to get to the destination and enjoy that, not the stupid long car ride. Especially when I find that we are just wasting time. Human nature wants answers, control, and individuality. This book explains that and I would have never understood it if it was not for this analysis in class.
