How frustrating

I honestly finished this novel with a hatred for the underground man. I must say that I agree and understand most of his points, but he is a terrible person. He may be a genius, but he is socially awkward. He is rude and believes himself to be superior to most people. He feels that he is more intelligent, but also leads to contradict himself. He says he is ashamed with himself. He has no feelings for anyone, and not even for himself, which is somewhat strange. He could care less about the girls Zverkov abused because they were the wives of his peasants, along with Liza. He turns every situation around so that he is the victim. And these were notes “from the underground”. They keep on going, but it was better to end there? That does not even make sense. He really bothers me. I honestly did not think he was that bad of a person until this reading.
